Hunter Pony for sale “Cruize”, as we like to call him, is a 7 year old eligible green large pony gelding sticking 14.1. He’s a beautiful chestnut with all the chrome & the personality of a big lovable dog. He is barefoot, utd on everything, loads, clips, ties, trailers, & will stand all day. We call him Cruize because that is exactly what you will do. Just cruise around at one comfortable speed & never come out of step. He never rushes the jumps & has never played on the backside or exhibited any kind of “naughty pony” behavior. He has two shows under his belt at 2’ where he took a top 3 hack prize every time out of 10+ exhibitor classes. He is schooling 2’3”-2’6” at home & has lead changes both ways. He also has proven to be beginner kid safe as he toted an 8 year old walk trotter around in the ribbons this past weekend her second time ever riding him. With as wonderful as he is, he is still green. Not in the sense he doesn’t know how to steer or jump, but he just needs miles and finishing. A very petite 12 year old has done all of him training with an assistance from a trainer up to this point. He will very easily be “finished” by a good riding kid & their trainer. We would love to see him go to a show barn, he will no doubt make up to be a division pony. Step & scope are not issues for him, he gets down the lines with complete ease. The best part? He’s no prep. Absolutely none. No paste. No pro rides. No lunge. No sage. We will be very picky about where he goes & are not in a rush to sell him. He will continue to be campaigned & his price will only increase.
